If you were one of the journalists, editors, bloggers, influencers and the like on IMG’s fashion week correspondence list, you likely received an email today announcing the arrival of yet another fashion week and of course registration. So soon you say? It seems like Spring 2012 Fashion Week was just two months ago? Likely because it was. But that’s not stopping announcements for the February 9-16, 2012 showings.

Bloggers have been spent the last few seasons becoming superstars and replacing celebrities in the front row which isn’t going away any time soon. This year, spectators can expect more bloggers in shows, hosting fashion week events and scoring more designer/blogger collaborations and partnerships.

Where does a newbie start? By registering to be included on the industry and press list. Early registration was announced for Monday, November 28th beginning at noon. Though early registration does not end until January 13th, 2012 at noon ET, insiders recommend registering as early as possible and ramping up content to secure prime seating for fashion week.

As a fashion week veteran, its only right I include a series on blogging fashion week closer to its arrival date. No worries, a four-part series instructing newbie bloggers on getting onto guest lists, getting into parties and getting the best coverage is scheduled to be released on the site in December.
