The chic innovative, energetic, bold, color BLACK will never go out of style and this season the color has gotten a lot of lime light. From celebrities to fashion designers everyone is reinventing  how sexy, sleek, and new black can be.  The first upsurge to make black acceptable came from the fashion houses of Paris and London, a favorite of the fashion elite – the rich, the glamorous and the chic. Chanel’s revolutionary “little black dress” for the elite lady of style entered the fashion scene in the post war period. In the ’60s the beatniks made black the core color of what became known as “Beat style.” Black became the favored color among artists and intellectuals, then in the 80’s the color became famous with punk leather coats,  and smudged black eyeliner, and  now in the new millennium, deep ebony has gotten a huge face lift in the fashion industry.  A touch of metallic, glitter, gold and silver has made this color a commodity in all the fashion shows. Designers are redefining the color of Black this season and it can only get darker!
